Clear light in your eyes proves purity, they are like shooting stars They must burn themselves to gleam. They fight really like ancient heroes, they all go, their team is tight. 'Cause they share one soldier dream
Soldier Dream (English version)
Because fangirling about 'Saint Seiya' and 'Rise of the Guardians' at 3 AM has it's consecuences. I had only planned the doodles, but as I was coloring, and AU started to unravel in my mind, so here's what I've thought of so far:
Saint of Wonder, Pope Nicholas St. North - One of the strongest two Saints of the past generation (The other one being Sandy) at the present time, he leads the Sanctuary of Childhood, the home of the Guardian Saints. This means he will only don his golden cloth again and fight if things get too tough, for his role is only to watch over the youngsters.
Saint of Dreams, Master Sandman - Despite his harmless and tiny appareance, he is one of the two strongest Golden Saints of his generation. At the present time, he's taken the role of master and mentor to the younger Saints.
Saint of Hope, Bunnymund E. Aster - The eldest and strongest of the new generation. His originally bronze cloth is the heritage form his deceased people, who were exterminated when he was young. He has trained and fought since then, granting his cloth the evoluton to a silver one and gaining a level above his comrades.
Saint of Memories, Toothiana - The only gal in the team. Her cloth was bestowed to her by her parents at the moment of their death when she was in her early teens; it has evolved from bronze to silver during her years of thriving. She has many young female apprentices, who she calls 'Fairies', her favorite one being a girl not unlike herself who was nicknamed 'Baby Tooth' by Jack.
Saint of Frost, Jack -The Rookie of the team. His bronce cloth was bestowed to him by Man in the Moon three years ago, but having used it as a toy most of the time, the cloth is close to being useless. However, he holds potential, that is, if he ever starts taking stuff seriously...
So, yeah, what do you think?
The Guardians belong to William Joyce. Saint Seiya belongs to Masami Kurumada.
I love your fan art for ROTG! It's fantastic and I love the way you've re-designed their costumes- especially the tooth fairy's costume and Jack's Frost's armour is amazing!
Thanks! Tooth and Jack are probably my favorite out of these! Though I think Jack could look much better (He was the first one I sketched, so he's really unpolished)
